The Silver Sedum plant, also known as Sedum reflexum 'Silver', is a stunning low-growing succulent with silvery blue-green leaves. It is a popular choice for rock gardens, ground cover, or as a trailing plant in hanging baskets.

How to care for silver sedum plant:

  • Light: The Silver Sedum plant prefers full sun to partial shade. It can tolerate some shade, but it may lose its silver coloring in lower light conditions.

  • Water: Allow the soil to dry out completely before watering. When you water, do so deeply but infrequently. Be careful not to overwater, as this can cause root rot.

  • Soil: Use a well-draining soil mix, such as a cactus or succulent blend.

  • Temperature: The Silver Sedum plant prefers warm temperatures, ideally between 60-75°F (15-24°C). It can tolerate some cold, but it should be protected from frost and freezing temperatures.

  • Fertilizer: Use a balanced fertilizer once a month during the growing season (spring and summer).

  • Pruning: Prune the plant as needed to maintain its shape and encourage new growth. The Silver Sedum can be propagated easily through stem cuttings, which root easily in soil.
