Growing In Large Space


If you have the luxury of a terrace or a backyard, there are multiple different methods you can adopt to grow your own veggies. You can go by the traditional farming method in soil, try vertical farming with Hydroponics and Aeroponics



  1. Traditional Method

To Grow in a traditional method you can opt to go DIY to make the most of old buckets and tubs in your home. You can reuse old paint buckets, fruit crates, Plastic tubs, coffee mugs etc. to make your own kitchen garden. Drill multiple holes in the base of the containers, add some gravel in the bottom, and then add a potting mix of vermicompost/organic manure, coco peat and well-drained soil to it. This way you not only recycle but will also be getting a fresh supply of healthy greens and veggies.

Make sure you place your pots in an area that receives good sunlight.






2. Hydroponics


Hydroponic farming allows you to grow more in less space without soil. Plants are grown in nutrient-rich water that circulates through the pipes enriching the roots with the required nutrients. With hydroponics, you can grow 10 times more plants in less space with 90%less water!
